Audrey Purciful is a freshmen in high school, in her first year of journalism. Once she became fanatic about books at nine years old, after reading the Harry Potter series, she immediately became obsessed with books and writing in general. She has always been the youngest in her class, although people frequently mistake her for being an upperclassman, after starting public school when she was twelve. She has two sisters, a toddler and an infant, and sees them often and her mom often, despite having moved away two years ago. When she’s not reading or writing, you can find her on her couch watching Netflix or YouTube, or on Mt. Charleston snowboarding with her uncle. While she may not be certain of where her hopes and dreams will take her, she is sure that it will include a furry friend. Along with her love of all things Harry Potter, she enjoys reading books that explore another world, especially that of the fairy tail nature. Aside from journalism, she also partakes in writing club every week. She has been a dancer since she was eight and even continued to take dance here at Palo Verde. Though she may struggle through her math class, she is determined to succeed, a very important quality, especially when someone has a chronic fear of failure.
