The Pinball Hall of Fame has been a Las Vegas feature since 2009. Located at 1610 E. Tropicana, it has been slowly growing its collection of pinball machines.

The Pinball Hall of Fame is a stand-alone museum, opened by the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club and owner Tim Arnold, who started operating pinball machines at 16 years-old.

“By September 1976, Tim opened Pinball Pete’s in Lansing (and later in Ann Arbor), as a large pinball arcade. His arcades were hugely popular, partially because of Tim’s management, and partially because of luck,” said a Pinball Hall of Fame spokesman.

There are over 10,000 square feet worth of machines, some preserved since the 50s. Some of these even include some classics such as Black Knight, Ace High, and Star-Jet and 400 more.

On weekdays they run from 11 am to 11pm and on weekends 11 am to midnight, and entrance is completely free: all you need to play is a couple of quarters.

“You can share the idea that pinball and charity can go together, and course you don’t have to just look at the games, you can PLAY them too. Tim and his helper Hippy work everyday at making sure all the games run 100% and are kept clean and attractive. It’s a full time job, and one that they are NOT paid to do,” said the spokesman.
