Saying Farewell to Fall Sports

As the season comes to a close and athletes can finally rest their legs, the wonderful accomplishments (and photos!) of all their hard work come to light. Look below for season highlights and records, and scroll above from some photos from the various sports throughout the season. We say farewell to the fall sports and welcome in the winter season!
Womens Soccer
Women’s soccer finished 4th in the state with an overall record of 14-4. Highlight players include goalkeeper Sarah Saxe with 4 shutouts and Olivia Packer with 30 goals and 7 assists
Mens Soccer
Men’s soccer finished 5th in the state with an overall record of 17-6-2. Highlight players include goalkeeper Hudson Huckfeldt with 11 shutouts; Presten Manthly with 18 goals, 6 assists; and Antonio Gomez with 10 goals and 5 assists.
Football
Varsity football finished 12th in the state with a 4-6 overall record. Highlight players include Chamere Thomas, who finished out the season with 173 rushing attempts, 1,166 total rushing yards, and 18 touchdowns for a total of 126 points scored this season. Brenton Lee ran a 460 rushing yard season, contributing 3 touchdowns. Daniel Bellinger finished with 371 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns.
Tennis
Women’s tennis finished the season with a nearly undefeated record at 14-1, while men’s tennis did similarly well with an overall of 16-3.
Cross Country
Women’s cross country finished 3rd in the region and 9th in the state. Men’s cross country finished fourth in the region with Evelio Vergara qualifying for individual state.
Womens Volleyball
Women’s volleyball finished 7th in the state with an overall record of 22-15.
