Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday where they celebrate those who have passed. They create altars which are big and colorful to celebrate their loved ones. The altars are decorated based on each person and what they liked. It’s their way of showing that they will never be forgotten.

The Springs Preserve put on a huge celebration with included altars all over the park, Mexican food, many skulls and traditional Mexican dances and other performances to honor the holiday.
