Fall Festivities
October 31, 2019
As we all know by now, we live in a very dry and elusive area, it can be hard sometimes to figure out what to do to pass the time. But with this change in seasons comes a change in ongoing festivities in the Las Vegas area. From The Palo Verde haunted house to Downtown Summerlin, there are many activities that adventure-seeking teenagers and families can go and enjoy.
Right around the corner from Palo, we have Downtown Summerlin offering a variety of different fall festivities. Such as the Parade of Mischief that happens every Friday and Saturday in October at 7 p.m. Not only is the whole mall decorated in Halloween themed decorations but at night, the lights of Downtown Summerlin shine orange to celebrate this spooky season. There is also a Spirit Halloween pop-up store right in the center of the mall. This store has costumes, decorations, and many props that will enhance this frightful time.
Right around the corner from Downtown Summerlin, we have our very own Tivoli Village. Within Tivoli, many shops are offering a variety of fall-themed costumes and nick-nacks. Such as the store Paper Source, within this store, one can find many different fall presents for their loved ones, or better yet, even for oneself.
Next to Tivoli Village, we have the infamous Halloween Town Pumpkin Patch. The patch is known for its fun rides, great food, and a photo opportunity to take with friends. The Pumpkin Patch is a great experience, and we can personally attest, a must-need, must-do activity to endure within the Summerlin area.
If you don’t want to venture too far from home, our very own Palo Verde is hosting a haunted house for all of the community. On October 23, from 6:30 to 8:30, the P.V. Playhouse is coming into action for only 5 dollars a person. This haunted house is brought to you by our very talented Student Council and is fun for kids and families of all ages.
All in all, there are many Fall Festivities around the Summerlin area that are very fun and inclusive for everyone. Just make sure you go before this spooky month is over, so you can get the frightful experience that is Halloween in Las Vegas!
