Bringing in the newest addition to lunch, Palo Verde spices lunch up for the student body this year by selling freshly made tacos every Monday!
Many students who come to school don’t have the time in the morning to make a full lunch, so instead, they come with some money and normally are left to eat unhealthy vending machine food. Though, now with the taco stand, it provides both a healthy and delicious source of food for many students.
Personally, I believe the tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had, they are fresh and are made as you approach. But what brings students in the most is most definitely the smell, with amazing scent students are left to wonder what is being sold.
I know personally I was intrigued to get to see what new food item Palo was selling when smelling the unfamiliar scent in the environment.
One student, Shelby Gibson expresses her love for this new add on and how it positively changes her attitude for school.

“These tacos are amazing, they offer a variety of meats, toppings, and drinks to go with it. It is a fun new addition to the school and honesty gets me excited to come to school!”
We all know how much everyone dreads Mondays, but with an amazing and cheap lunch to look forward to, it makes the day feel much shorter.
I tried all the different meat options not sure which would be the best, but I fell in love with all of the different types: steak, chicken, and pork. A variety of toppings came with it including ranging spicy salsa, lettuce, pico de gallo, cucumbers, and other sauces; giving students a greater opportunity to make a variety of combos.
“I’ve always liked the pizza at our school sure, but when I heard they were switching it out for tacos it made me really excited, I enjoy the variety of choice you get that comes with it rather than picking a random piece of pizza and calling it your lunch. It completely fills me up for the rest of the day and is definitely a healthy alternative,” says Mallory Mckisick, Junior and fellow taco lover.
With the new fun addition to the school, students are able to connect with one another and enjoy freshly made tacos all lunch. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for me!
