Halloween is coming up soon panthers, and one of the treats that most people love from Halloween is the delicious candy you get. There are so many different kinds of candy out there, and so many different opinions on them. Not only is candy beloved because it’s just a small thing that could bring up anyone’s mood, but candy can come in many different shapes and sizes.

There are varying opinions about candy, while some say a brand is good and others say it is bad. However Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, and Candy Corn have to be the best.

Ranking my favorite candy starting from my third favorite candy is Candy Corn. This may come as a surprise, but Candy Corn in my opinion is better than other candies like Skittles and Sour Patch Kids. Candy Corn has a nice design and a great taste compared to today’s sugary candies.

My second favorite candy is Snickers. Snickers is a nice mix of salty and sweet with the peanuts and the chocolate. Having a nice peek into both worlds of candy is always a delight, along with that nice drizzle of caramel that ties the whole thing together.

My favorite candy of all time is Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. I love peanut butter, and combined with chocolate this candy just tastes amazing. You can have them regularly or you can chill them in the freezer for a cold treat. My love for this candy started when I was little, when I would get a bunch of Reese’s because my brother was allergic to peanuts. The taste just always satisfied my need for something sweet, and I feel it does for most people too.

“My favorite candy is probably Jelly Belly’s. I kinda like the fruity taste of them, and the small compact nature of them means that I often eat less.¨ said Byron Schnell-Davis, senior at Palo Verde High School.

Everyone worldwide has their own favorite, and that’s what’s great about candy. Anyone can have a favorite candy and enjoy it without problem.

“I love Kitkat. I love it because it’s wafer-y and very chocolatey,”said Sumerlynn Abear, junior at Palo Verde High School.

Chances are that your favorite candy is different from your friends’ favorite candy, so be sure to pick up a variety this week!

“My favorite candy is Tootsie Rolls. I like them because there small and you can pack a bunch in your pocket and they have a pretty good taste to them,¨said Tymari Carmichael, Senior at Palo Verde High School.

There are different candies all over the world and it is amazing that everyone can have a favorite candy. Since Halloween is coming, get ready to eat candy or maybe find a new favorite candy (also get ready to feel a little guilty).
