January 7, 2022
As the second semester is kicking off, students are finally able to say they are done with semester exams. Winter sports are starting back up now that we are back in school, and what better way to support Palo Verde High School Athletics than going to the annual Hope Game?
Yearly in honor of Coach Phil Clark, Sr., the game will be on Friday, January 7th in the main gym. Hope Game T-shirts ($10) and long sleeves ($20) have been sold throughout the week by Mr. Clark in room 819B.
The girls’ varsity team, led by Head Coach Roussel, will be playing at 5:00 PM, following the girls’ JV team that plays at 3:30 PM. Boys’ Varsity basketball, led by Head Coach Loyd, will be playing preceding both, at 6:30 PM.
Legacy High School will be the visiting team this year.
“If you’re successful in the classroom, you’ll be successful in life.” –Coach Phil Clark, Sr.
Tickets may be purchased at $5 for adults and $3 for students. Win or lose, visitors and students are guaranteed to have a good time. Good luck Panthers, we will be cheering for you!
