There’s nothing better than getting freezing cold ice cream on a freezing cold day. It’s even better when you can make your own creations with different mixes, toppings, and flavors. Drill It Creamery provides you with just that experience and more. If you’re looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, Drill It is the place for you.

Located in Boca Park, Drill It offers a large variety of ice creams, milkshakes, and other baked goods. The shop itself is an adorable place to enjoy a dessert with friends or family. Customers walk into a small shop painted light blue and white, adorned with a decorative wall reading “Just Drill It,” under which guests can sit and take pictures. The counter in the center of the store is lined with all different types of colorful cereal.

However, the store’s claim to fame is its quirky ice cream creations, in which customers can mix ice cream with a special ingredient. Guests pick their base flavor, an ingredient to mix in, and a topping. The ice cream and special ingredients are mixed together in a bowl with a large corkscrew.  The “mix-in” ingredients usually include various types of cereal. Toppings range from fruits to sugary syrups or sprinkles.

At Drill It Creamery, I tried the “Fruity Tootie” ice cream. I picked my base flavor, which was vanilla. Mixed into the base were Fruity Pebbles and Fruit Loops. Drizzled on the top was a strawberry jam that gave the ice cream just another touch of sweetness and flavor.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the dessert. The cereals complimented the vanilla flavor very well, and the crunch added a nice texture. The strawberry jam was like “the cherry on top.”

Their ice cream is unique and popular as well.

Palo Verde junior Kate Kling said, “I had the ‘Fuzzy Wuzzy’ and it was absolutely delicious. I really like how creative they were with the flavors and the names. The shop was super cute too.”

Drill It offers a number of flavors to try from. If you don’t enjoy fruity flavors, chocolatey ones can be found too.

“I had the ‘S’mores Please’ and it was so incredibly scrumptious,” said Palo junior Geena Ravelo Cepero, “I loved it so much, and I loved the ambience of the shop too.”

While eating ice cream here, one will never get bored. The store offers a large assortment of distinct ice cream flavors and other sweets that will keep customers excited to come back for more.

Drill It is open Monday through Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Thursday from 12:30 pm to 10:00 pm, and Friday through Sunday from 12:30 t0 11:00 pm. Whether early or late, it is a perfect place to take friends, family, or loved ones for a sweet treat!
