Mission Statement:

It is the mission of Panther Print to provide to students at Palo Verde High School useful information from their school, community, and the world, to inspire critical analysis of events and data, to report on and promote the educational and extracurricular activities performed at PVHS, to serve as a forum for student expression, and to document what students experience at PVHS.

Editorial Statement:

Panther Print is a student-run and operated newspaper. All opinions and views expressed within an article are those of the author and not of the student body, the staff of Palo Verde High School, or CCSD. Students and staff who wish to express their views to the staff of Panther Print can submit them to [email protected].

Comments Policy:

Panther Print intends for this area to be used to foster healthy, thought-provoking discussion of issues covered in the newspaper. We believe user generated content and feedback is important to maintaining balanced and relevant journalism of the highest quality. All comments are expected to adhere to our standard and to be respectful and constructive. As such, we do not permit the use of profanity, foul language, personal attacks or the use of language that might be interpreted as libelous. Only comments pertinent to the post to which they refer will be published. We strongly discourage readers from posting comments that express thoughts they would feel uncomfortable sharing in a face-to-face conversation.

All comments are reviewed and must be approved by Panther Print staff and school administrators to ensure that they meet these standards. Panther Print reserves the right to decline to publish individual comments, to remove comments posted previously and to suspend the comment function. Panther Print does not allow anonymous comments, and Panther Print requires a valid email address.  The email address will not be displayed but will be used to confirm your comments.
