Remington Foster
Freshman Remington Foster is in her first year of journalism at Palo Verde High School and is enjoying it greatly. She has made it onto the newspaper as a published writer thanks to the sports opportunities, despite it being more of a Journalism II thing. She is hoping to help out the most in the sports and entertainment columns. She has loved the idea of everything reading and writing ever since she could understand what she was doing or could think of words to put down on paper. Along with being apart of Journalism, Foster has been playing lacrosse for the past four years on a team and has had a lacrosse stick in her hand since she turned eight. Of those four years on a team, one has been on Palo's Girl's Varsity Lacrosse Team. When not on a field or in class, Foster enjoys painting, listening to music (some of her favorite artists include All Time Low, the Bad Suns, Cage the Elephant, and Panic! at the Disco), volunteering at her nearby animal hospital, and eating sushi burritos. She hopes to go on to college when she graduates high school and make a change in the world.
