Samantha Burton, Co-Editor-in-Chief

Senior Samantha Burton is in her third year of being Co-Editor-in-Chief for Panther Print and her fourth year in journalism. She has also served as News, Opinions, and Features Editor at times concurrently. She has been writing since before she can remember, has won numerous writing awards and has been published several times. She has learned a great wealth of information from her experience in journalism so far and is eager to continue learning. She hopes to attend a top university and pursue a career in film production (or maybe creative writing, or maybe comparative literature, she hasn’t quite decided yet). Sam is also President of the Creative Writing Club, President of the National Honor Society, Vice President of the Women’s Empowerment Club,  and a member of the Varsity Swim team. Her passions include writing in all genres, reading avidly, Irish step dancing, traveling and working diligently to maintain her straight-A average in all of her classes, including several AP courses. In her (limited) free time, she enjoys “ceremonial” activities.
