Arushi Chamaria is a junior enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program and in her third year of Palo Verde journalism. In her previous years, she has lived in Dubai, Los Angeles, and she is originally from India but now lives in Las Vegas. She also has previously been a player on the palo verde tennis team, but she also enjoys tutoring, photography, and doing abacus. She tutors elementary, middle, freshman, and sophomore students in high school for math and reading at Sapience learning center. The Abacus program is a mental math course that allows one to stimulate the left and right sides of the brain. She is halfway to reaching her completion certification and has also received multiple recognitions from local new channels.  Her interest in global conflicts, politics, writing has led her to choose IB global politics and journalism as her courses this year. She hopes to excel in high school and write many unique pieces for Palo Verde Print. After high school, she hopes to pursue a career in neurosurgery at Harvard Medical University.
